Another week gone!
Spent the weekend on the Cape West Coast. Kulula.com had cheap tickets, so off to the Cape for the weekend. Decided to visit the West Coast as I haven't been up there for many years.
One thing is obvious - developers can spoil any coast line in the world!
Where there used to be a few holiday shacks there are now kilometers of stark white buildings. No wonder the Black Oystercatcher is having a hard time surviving - it's breeding beaches have all been turned into housing estates!
Big fancy estates going up right next to fish processing plants. Anybody who bought off plan is going to be in for a smelly surprise when they arrive to stay in their new beach front holiday home.
Rocher Pans were a disappointment - No water , so no birds.
