Digital cameras just keep getting better! Nikon have just annouced the Coolpix P80. Nikon's latest P series superzoom, is built around a powerful 18x zoom lens also equipped with Nikon's Optical Vibration Reduction technology.
An 18x Zoom-NIKKOR lens that covers focal lengths from 27-486mm (35mm format equivalent). Image sensor shift VR (Vibration Reduction) image stabilization rounds out the set by adding extra reassurance that the results will be sharper and clearer.
Outstanding imaging ability begins with 10.1 effective megapixels and new digital image processing software that gives fine detail and subtle tones, whilst delivering quick response, and maintaining image quality and clarity. The camera has extended light sensitivity settings as high as ISO 6400.
Like most new cameras the P80 has many features that allow control over almost all aspects of how the camera takes a picture for you.
Should be on sale in the USA in May.
